City of Allen, Texas

 

Located north of Dallas and Plano, Allen is experiencing its fastest growth rate in the city's history in both residential and business development. Allen is projected to exceed 70,000 residents by 2010. According to the North Central Council of Governments, these figures will make Allen the fastest growing city in North Texas over the next 15 years.

Within the past three years, business development has added more then 2,000 jobs and
$150 million in capital investment to the local tax base. Allen was recently ranked among
the top 10 best corporate relocation cities in Texas by Texas Business magazine.

Students in the Allen ISD consistently score high on the college entrance exams, and the
